Situated in the Var nestling under the Maures massif. For nine years this beautiful property has been run by Francois Seminel purchased this beautiful property nine years ago. Before this time the estate sold its entire crop to the local co-operatives. Francois installed a new, vinification cellar: temperature controlled inox cuvees, pneumatic press and climatic control. The estate comprises some 50 hectares of which 20 are under vine. Fermentation for all the wines is carried out with natural yeasts. The roses are made by saignee or maceration pelliculaire. The elevage for the wines is sur lies. For the reds, there is often a 30 day maceration and aging is either in cuve, foudre or 600 litre barriques, depending upon the cuvee. Each parcel of vines is collected and fermented separately. The white wines are beautifully pure and aromatic, the reds amoung the most interesting and delicious I have tasted from this region. The Roses are a delight: elegant, very perfumed and lightly coloured.
