2004 Rioja 'Pagos Viejos' Magnums, Bodegas Artadi (per 1x150cl) Deep, concentrated very floral aromas of black cherry/ berry, violets and lovely integrated spicy oak. Soft and succulent on the palate, low acidity, low to medium ripe tannins, medium to full bodied. A stunning depth of violet tinged black cherry/ berry fruit and oodles of deliciously spicy oak. Exquisite depth and power, the tannins are ripe and velvety smooth. Incredible length, the finish lasts for ages. (CG)
