1999 Coteaux du Langeudoc Very ripe, elegant nose of blackcurrant, red berry, spicy oak, coffee, provencal herbs with a slightly reductive note. Dry, low acidity, low-medium tannins. Real wow factor on the palate. Big, rich and ripe blackcurrant/ berry, spicy oak and coffee. Powerful, intense and complex with provencal herbs and pepper. A distinctly cornas-like character. Good length with a slightly masked finish. (CG)
