Quite an interesting, delicate nose. Earthy, a touch vegetal with whisky-esque (Mortlach), sherry, American Oak aromas. Totally different on the palate. Clean, fruity, Cognac-esque, smooth with rich fruit, a touch sherried, dried fruit, nuts, stewed apricots & figs. Lovely & smooth right through to the end with a tangy, marzipan & earthy finish.
