Clean, pronounced aromas of citrus orange, cooked, sweet apples, dusty vanilla spice with hints of earth and a crisp spirityness. Dry with the flavour coming in glorious waves, crisp apple (which is less sweet than the nose suggests), then spice, then apple, then spice again - it's a veritable strudel! Lovely length with cinnamon and wood notes plus a slight perfumed note on the finish.
12+ years old. A very intense nose of earthy apple, orange, apricot with hints of vanilla - very complex & creamy. A super smooth palate of very earthy apples which develops in the mouth. Very concentrated with menthol notes in the finish. Good acidity, very long with hints of nuts in the after taste.
Approximately 8 years old. A warm delicate, aromatic nose of apples with a slight sweetness. The palate is smooth with buckets of earthy apple flavours & a long finish.
