Wonderful aromas of rich, roasted coffee beans and dark malt. A classic Irish stout, soft, smooth and full flavoured with oodles of dark toffee/ coffee malt. Very intense with a great depth and a touch of smoke. Long finish with a lingering coffee malt note.
Rich, dark, dense, treacle toffee aromas with coffee and a smoky almost peaty note. Full-bodied, rich, coffee malt, treacle toffee and smoke. Rich and unctuous, very smooth and silky with a soft bitterness. Extremely long and velvety smooth.
Clean, soft malty and hoppy aromas. A classic premium ale. On the palate it is soft and smooth with rich red fruits. A lovely rounded texture with a darker malty edge. The hops add a lovely complexity and it has a long finish with a touch of dark bitter. A great session ale.
Clean, traditional bitter aromas. On the palate it is a fruity traditional ale with robust malt and hop flavours along with a touch of honey/ toffee. Lovely length, softly bitter. A good honest session ale.
Quite a fragrant nose of dark malty aromas, toffee and red fruits. Lovely intensity on the palate, full of tangy red berry fruits. Softly bitter and full bodied with malt and hops adding complexity. Very long with a metallic iron/ blood note in the finish. Definitely one for the vampires!
The nose is quiet sweet with fruity, wheaty aromas. The palate is intensely wheaty (as expected) with a clean larger-esque bitter. The pure raspberry flavours come through on the middle. A lovely blanace and depth. Smooth and eminently drinkable with a late light malty note.
